Designed for use with Bachmann's EZ-Track system, "My First Layout" catches the beginners interest and gets them started on running and decorating an HO-Scale train layout.

My First Layout is also fun to decorate for that Christmas winter scene. Whether you select a 3 foot table-top tree (left) or a 7 foot full-size tree (below), Terrain for Trains' HO Christmas Tree Layout makes life during the holidays just a bit easier and a lot prettier.

The buildings used to create this "Winter Wonderland" on the table-top layout were purchased at Michael's Arts & Crafts. They are cast plaster structures, ready for painting. It's a fun family project to paint and decorate these buildings. Michael's offers new designs each year and they are reasonably priced around $5.95 to $7.95 each.
The floor version of our Santa's Wonderland is decorated with buildings from Dept. 56. The scale on these buildings is not too consistent and they are a bit pricey, but they are beautiful.

The My First HO Layout is made of white hardshell styrene (not foam) with roads, streams, a pond, even a tunnel molded into the surface. Store the layout in its original carton after Christmas and use it year after year. Or set it up on a table and use it year 'round.
